What to Expect

FH 11-13-16-2.jpg

Foothills is a warm and casual environment for people of all ages and stages of life. We worship on Sunday mornings at 9 & 10:45am (one service at 9am on Sundays in the summer). We sing a mix of contemporary music and traditional hymns. Our preaching is geared toward high schoolers and adults, knowing that middle schoolers often listen in. We celebrate communion on the second Sunday of the month and we have baptisms on a regular basis.

Community at Foothills happens most often in our Groups that meet throughout the year at various locations.

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.” 1 John 4:9

We’d love to welcome your family to Foothills during the Christmas season (and every season, for that matter). Throughout December, we will be studying 1 John Chapter 4 and Luke 2.

Here’s a breakdown of dates, times and passages:
• December 2, services at 9am & 10:45am, 1 John 4:7-9
• December 9, services at 9am & 10:45am, 1 John 4:10-11
• December 16, services at 9am & 10:45am, 1 John 4:12-16
• December 23, services at 9am & 10:45am, 1 John 4:17-21
• Tuesday, December 24, one service at 5pm (come at 4:30pm for early seating), Luke 2
• December 30, one service at 10am, back in the Believe & Live series that’s taking us through the Gospel of John.

The book of John is filled with great stories about Jesus. The first half of the book shows many signs and wonders that point to His divinity. Some of Jesus’ greatest teachings are captured as leaders, crowds, and his disciples look to him for answers to life’s biggest questions. The story moves in the second half of the book toward his death, burial, and resurrection. It’s the beautiful and ultimate depiction of sacrificial love on full display.

Join Foothills on Sunday mornings at 9am & 10:45am as we learn more about Jesus and what he asks us to believe.

Miss a Sunday? Our sermon podcast is located here on our website.
