When/Where: Drive-In Church happens Sundays at 10:00AM in the area behind our main church building. The gathering will last about one hour. The map on this page details where to park or sit.

Audio & media: Tune your radio to FM 98.1 when you arrive. On your smartphone, pull up the Foothills App or click the link at the top of this page for the Drive-In Bulletin, which includes song lyrics, scripture and more.

Bring: Your Bible, smartphone, and perhaps water and sunscreen for those warm-weather days.

Parking: We encourage everyone to come 15-20 minutes early to prevent a bottle neck of traffic in the parking and driving areas. We will start promptly at 10:00AM.

Seating: Bring your own lawn chair and mask to sit in a socially-distanced manner in front of our stage. Parking for chair sitters is designated in the front of the church. You may drop off your chairs and passengers in the back of the church, then continue and park in the front of the church.

Kids: Pick up a Kids Pack on your way in to keep kids engaged during the Drive-In. Pick up a second pack on the way out to keep them engaged during the week.

Offering: We’ll take an offering during the gathering. We’ll use our online giving platform. If you’re used to dropping off your offering, you may do so on the way out of the parking area when we dismiss.

Masks: We require face coverings to be worn outside of vehicles. That includes children ages five and up. This is because 1) we are cautious in our approach, 2) we are practicing what we will likely need to do when we return to our building, 3) singing has been shown to cause droplets to spread further and faster, and 4) we want people who are attending to know what to expect and be consistent in our approach.

Monitor your health: Stay home if you have a fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or other symptoms of COVID-19.

Online streaming: The gathering will be streamed live to our home page and to our Facebook page at 10:00AM, and available on demand after the gathering ends. If you’re at the Drive-In, you won’t need to watch the Livestream to enjoy the in-person experience (it will have a 30 second delay and might be slow due to our wifi capabilities). But if you’re at home, this is a great option!

Communion: On the second Sunday of the month, we will provide a pre-filled cup with juice and communion wafer. The wafer is not gluten free. Feel free to bring your own elements if you need to do that.

Pets: Unless you have a service animal, please leave pets at home if you plan to use our seating area. If you have a pet in your vehicle, we ask that you keep the animal inside with you.

Bathrooms: We have a pair of portable toilets next to the “pole barn” that are available to use. The company that rents them will clean them. For now, no one is cleaning them between uses during the gathering.

Weather: We are setting up our equipment knowing that we’re in Oregon and will probably get rained on. Should this happen, we will continue singing and preaching in the rain and wind. If you are sitting outside, you may return to your car and tune your radio to FM 98.1 in order to continue hearing the service.
