Hello ladies! I am glad you found our blog. It is our intention to keep you informed of upcoming events and offer weekly encouragement. I want to say thank you to the women who agreed to help with our sound and tech needs. They start training this week and a few of them will be helping out at our first big event of the year. We are calling it The Connection. We hope you can all come. If you would like to help with this event or others please pray and then contact me, Tammy Lucas.

I want to leave you with this little gem that a friend helped me discover a few years ago. It's a 99-cent app you can add to your smart phone called the Daily Audio Bible. I love it and it helps me move forward with listening and reading the Bible all year long. I originally thought I would get annoyed listening to anyone other than Dr. Jim Hills from Corban University – he has an amazing reading voice, sigh.

But I was wrong. I have come to love the voice (Brian Hardin) that reads me the active, living and breathing word of God most days. I say "most days" because even though the reader is fresh every day of the year, rain or shine, I sometimes miss a few days. When I do miss, I just pick up from where I left off. Each day the Old and New Testaments are read along with a few Psalms and a tiny bit of Proverbs. This method gets you through the whole Bible in one year. Brian prays at the end and often has a little commentary; sometimes I listen in and other times I do not. The Daily Audio Bible app is just a tool to help us know God more. If you already have plan that works for you, great, enjoy. Feel free to share with others ideas that have worked for you in the comment section if you would like. Have a great week ladies.

Blessings to you,

Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
