Understanding the Bible as one complete story: In eight weeks, Seamless by Angie  Smith covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.

DATES & TIMES: Three groups will meet on Tuesday mornings, 9:30-11:30am, at three local homes. These groups start meeting January 30. Register here for a Tuesday morning study group.

Another group will meet on Thursday evenings, 6:30-8pm, at a local home. This group starts meeting February 1. This group filled, but we are trying to form a second study group for Thursday evening. Join the waitlist for this group here.

BOOKS: Please purchase “Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story” (member or Bible study book, NOT the student version) online or at a Christian bookstore.

CHILDCARE: None of the studies this term will have childcare provided, however, your children are welcome to join you at the Tuesday morning studies. There will be a limited number of spaces available for children in each study group.

Selah Women's Retreat

Join other women for a one-day retreat at Foothills Church on Saturday, February 24. We hope to draw in all women who want to attend by making it accessible and affordable. We encourage you and your friends to come!

Laura Chica is our retreat speaker. Laura has been a biblical counselor at Salem Heights Church for over 10 years. Her passion is rooted in God’s word and its ability to provide encouragement, guidance and hope. Her life experience includes marriage for 25 years (and counting) to her husband, who she also worked with in full-time ministry. They share four biological children and one adopted child; their ages range from 16 to 23 years old. Autism and special needs have been a part of her family’s journey and will continue to be part of their life story. Laura enjoys a great cup of coffee, a good sermon, and spending time with family. She has a passion and love for women who are walking through their personal life story, learning to take joy in the narrative that God is writing for them.

Cost is just $35 per person ($20 for college students) and includes lunch and materials you’ll need (and want!).

Doors open at 9am on Saturday, February 24. We’ll begin our time together at 9:30am. Retreat ends at 3pm.
