Groups are how we connect with each other at Foothills and grow in our faith. 2017-18 Groups start meeting the week of September 24. Life Groups meet into May 2018. If you're new to Foothills, let our groups pastor, Rob Baddeley, know that you're interested in joining one. Email him here.

What is the difference between LIFE Groups and Growth Groups?

Life Groups meet for eight months and may include anyone. They are multi-generational and include kids and young adults in the activities. Life Groups follow what’s being taught on Sunday mornings.

Growth Groups generally meet 10-12 weeks and meet for a specific reason, such as a book or video study on marriage. Growth Groups may be for a certain demographic, such as all women or men. Sometimes Growth Groups have childcare.

A Class is what we call a group that meets for a short time, maybe once, to tackle a specific task, such as learning about church membership.

Groups are listed below, including leader names and time and day of weekly group gatherings. Choose one and follow the link in the description to register.

Life Groups meet regularly at homes in Stayton, Sublimity, Scio and Silverton. Life Groups are multi-generational and typically include a discussion of Sunday's sermon. If you're new to Foothills, let our groups pastor, Rob Baddeley, know that you're interested in joining one. Email him here.

Women's Bible Studies for spring 2018: Registration is happening in January for several women's groups. All of the study groups will be going through Seamless by Angie Smith.

Understanding the Bible as one complete story:
In eight weeks, Seamless by Angie Smith covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.

DATES & TIMES: Three groups will meet on Tuesday mornings, 9:30-11:30am, at three local homes. These groups start meeting January 30.  (Registration link is below).

Another group will meet on  Thursday evenings, 6:30-8pm, at a local home. This group starts meeting February 1. (Note: This group filled up in one day. We are putting together another group to meet at that time. Please join the waitlist below if you are interested in meeting with this group.)

BOOKS: Please purchase “Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story” (member or Bible study book) online or at a Christian bookstore.

CHILDCARE: None of the studies this term will have childcare provided, however, your children are welcome to join you at the Tuesday morning studies. There will be a limited number of spaces available for children in each study group.
