Groups are how we connect with each other at Foothills and grow in our faith. Fall Groups start the week of September 25. Life Groups meet into May and Growth Groups run through the week of December 11.

What is the difference between Growth Groups and Life Groups?

Growth Groups generally meet 10-12 weeks and meet for a specific reason, such as a book or video study on marriage. Growth Groups may be for a certain demographic, such as all women or men. Some Growth Groups have childcare.

Life Groups meet for a longer season (roughly for the school year) and can include anyone. They are meant to be multi-generational and include kids and young adults in the activities. Life Groups follow what's being taught on Sunday mornings, rather than choosing a book to study or video series to go through.

A Class is what we call a group that meets for a short time, maybe once, to tackle a specific task, such as learning about church membership.

Groups are listed below, including leader names and time and day of weekly group gatherings. Choose one and follow the link in the description to register.

Life Groups meeting regularly at homes in Stayton, Sublimity, Scio and Silverton. All are meant to be multi-generational, including kids and young adults in the activities. They typically include a discussion of Sunday's sermon. A couple of Life Groups are for Children's Ministry leaders.

Most Life Groups are in full swing at this point in the year, but a few have openings. Contact Rob Baddeley, our discipleship pastor, if you are interested in joining a Life Group or have a question about them.
